Ski hire Cervinia
Cervinia, an Italian resort that’s ideal for families
Located in northwest Italy in the Aosta Valley, Cervinia has it all. Its ski area covers no fewer than 150 kilometres of runs, and spans territory in two countries: Italy and Switzerland.
A varied and extensive ski area
Situated in the heart of the mountains at an altitude of around 2000 metres, this resort is one of the largest in Italy. There’s lots on offer for skiers: ski gear shops and ski hire outlets, lessons for all abilities, 20 ski lifts and 150 kilometres of runs, half of which are equipped with snow cannons.
If you want to go further, you can even access the adjacent ski areas of Valtournenche and Zermatt (both of which are in Switzerland) and enjoy more than 300 kilometres of runs.
Good to know: guaranteed snow cover
Thanks to its high altitude, the ski area offers excellent snow cover and even allows for summertime skiing on 15-20 kilometres of runs.
A family-friendly resort
As well as having access to all the resort’s facilities, which make for good skiing for both adults and children (lessons, ski lifts, adapted runs and ski hire), families get added benefits during their stay. With free ski passes for children under the age of 8, and 3 baby ski areas, there’s something for everyone.
What’s there to do in Cervinia?
Visitors have access to a range of other activities:
•A skicross route;
• A vast snowpark;
• More than 10 kilometres of cross-country skiing tracks within the ski area;
• An ice karting circuit, which is also open after dark;
• Frozen waterfalls, and plenty more.
Lying between Italy and Switzerland, this sun-drenched resort charms its visitors with its outstanding slopes and ideal weather conditions. So hurry over to Cervinia to enjoy the snow, and visit one of our Skiset shops at the foot of the slopes to hire your kit.
