Located at 558 m above sea level, 30 km from the Hintertux glacier, Kaltenbach offers direct access to the 2,376 m high Ski-Optimal ski area with its lifts. From here you can easily reach the 181 km of slopes in Hochfügen-Hochzillertal or the more family-friendly Spieljoch area. However, Kaltenbach is best known for its night skiing.
