Two resorts for the price of one
The Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski area consists of two resorts. The first, Obergurgl, is located at an altitude of 1930 m and is internationally renowned for its luxury hotels and car-free areas, which make it ideal for a peaceful stay. The second, Hochgurgl, is perched at an altitude of 2150 m and is known for its hotels and ski hire shops, which are located right on the slopes. The two resorts have a combined total of 110 km of runs, with something to suit all abilities, as well as 24 state-of-the-art ski lifts to reduce waiting times. Open from mid-November until the end of April, the area enjoys guaranteed snow cover and offers breathtaking views of the Alps.

With something for everyone, the vast ski area of Obergurgl-Hochgurgl comprises a beginners’ park for children, 2 snowparks of varying levels and 10 km of freeriding runs for those seeking the thrill of freedom. You can also take part in ski touring, luging, ice skating and mountaineering, or unwind in a waterpark with a sauna, do some indoor sports, or even play golf on an indoor course. There are some absolutely stunning viewpoints at Obergurgl-Hochgurgl too, including the Gaisberg cable car and the high-altitude Hohe Mut restaurant at 3000 m.
