Ski hire Champoluc - Monterosa Ski
Champoluc is located in the Aosta Valley region, and more specifically at the base of the Monte Rosa massif in the Ayas Valley. At an altitude of 1500 m, the village is surrounded by vast expanses of forest and offers spectacular views of the Monte Rosa glaciers and massif, the second highest massif in the Alps.
While the Champoluc ski area only has around 30 km of runs, the village belongs to the large Monterosa Ski resort, which links the Ayas Valley and the Gressoney Valley. This resort gives you access to more than 100 km of runs, with snow cover throughout the season thanks to a major network of snow cannons. The ski area consists mainly of red runs and is therefore more suited to intermediate and advanced skiers, especially considering that many of the off-piste routes are accessed by helicopter or using seal skins. That said, less confident skiers will be more than content on the 100 km of runs. For freestyle enthusiasts, there are two snowparks available across the whole ski area, while speed junkies can delight in whizzing down the slalom and racing tracks.
You could spend all your days descending the numerous glacier slopes. The resort village is also extremely modern and its ski lifts very new, ensuring maximum safety for you and your family.
Champoluc has plenty of surprises in store for you when it comes to après-ski, to fill and liven up your evenings. This charming village has a number of artisan shops, ski hire, an ice rink and restaurants serving Italian specialities. While the resort village is less party-centric than others in the Alps massif, it is nevertheless a delightful place, with cocktail bars and concerts during the evenings.
For your ski hire choose our Telemark shop, which is conveniently located below your accommodation, at the foot of the slopes.
