Ellmau is a calm, friendly and family oriented ski resort. The ski domain includes the small Going resort that has a relaxed approach to alpine skiing on reasonably easy slopes. For the more experienced skiers, the resort has a very advantageous position with direct access to the vast “Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental” ski domain, from which you can return to the village by the slopes. There is also a more original way of getting to the highest point of the domain, by Austria's fastest funicular. When the night falls at Ellmau, the atmosphere is similar to the slopes : calm and relaxed.
