Ski hire Flaine
Flaine, a resort at the foot of the slopes
Lying between Geneva and Chamonix, Flaine is a pedestrianised resort where everything is ski-in/ski-out. With its central hub and all its facilities, including food shops, ski hire outlets, restaurants and recreational areas, it has something for all its visitors, families and veteran skiers alike.
Flaine, in the heart of the Grand Massif
Linked to the ski areas of Morillon, Les Carroz, Samoëns and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, the resort offers skiers a playground of 265 kilometres of runs. Built on 5 different levels, it has an altitude range of 1500 to 1800 metres:
• Flaine Front de Neige at 1500 metres;
• Flaine Forum at 1600 metres;
• Flaine Forêt at 1700 metres;
• Flaine Montsoleil at 1750 metres;
• And Le Hameau de Flaine at 1800 metres.
Good to know: an artistic resort
Designed by the world-famous architect Marcel Breuer, Flaine is characterised by its abundance of artworks. You only have to look up to admire the architectural treasures that stand alongside the snow-covered peaks.
An exceptional location
Thanks to its altitude and its location in the heart of the Alps, Flaine is guaranteed excellent snow cover, with up to 4 metres of snow on the summits at the end of the season. The resort also boasts breathtaking 360° views of the massifs of Mont Blanc, Aravis and Jura from the summit of Les Grandes Platières, at 2500 metres.
And, of course, you’ll find all the must-haves for a good mountain resort, such as ski hire outlets, lessons, and a range of useful shops.
Snow sports fans will love this highly practical pedestrianised resort. Skiers can make their way to their favourite slopes with their skis already on. So as soon as you arrive, go and choose your kit in a Skiset ski hire shop in the centre of the resort.
