The kingdom of powder snow and amazing skiing, the Barege-La Mongie ski resort, is located in the vastest ski domain in the French Pyrenees. La Mongie is situtuated at the foot of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, and is in the heart of the Tourmalet domain. Between 1400 and 2500m, La Mongie - Barege, is a resort at the foot of the slopes, that offers over 100km of skiing thanks to its 40 ski lifts. La Mongie offers a variation of activities for the winter season such as skiing, snowboarding, telemarking, heliskiing, cross country skiing, paragliding skiing. Only 15 minutes away from the Pic Observatory on a 600m² terrasse, you can look out over a stunning panoramic view of the Pyrenees. For powder snow fanatics, the descent from the Pic du Midi is best done with a ski instructor.
