Ski hire Maria Alm
Maria Alm is located in the Salzburg region at the foot of the Hochkönig. Here you will find a highly modern ski resort, but also a place rich in magnificent landscapes and preserved traditions. It is a ski resort that is suitable for everyone due to the variety of offers.
From the resort you have two options to explore the ski area. The first option is to ski in the ski area of Maria Alm, the Hochkönig, which includes 120 km of slopes with a large difference in altitude (1100 m). This area is known for its very safe snow and consistent ski quality, supported by numerous snow cannons. There is a wide range of slopes with very different levels of difficulty suitable for all, as well as three snow parks and secured freeride zones. In addition, night skiing, which is very developed in Austria, is possible with a special ski pass that allows you to ski from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm on some slopes along the Simmerl lift as well as in a snow park.
The second option is to choose the ski pass "SKI AMADE" and enjoy the 760 km of slopes, this corresponds to one of the largest ski areas in the world. This large area actually combines four other large areas: Salzburg Sport World, Schladming-Dachstein, Gastein and Hochkönig and Grossarl Valley. To connect the areas, a free ski bus is at your disposal.
In addition to alpine skiing, you can also take advantage of the 40 km of cross-country ski trails, suitable for beginners and advanced skiers, more or less elevated, but always with a magnificent view of the region. In addition, there are 85 km of marked hiking trails, especially suitable for snowshoeing.
After skiing, you can relax by the pool and enjoy local specialties such as cheese fondue in one of the restaurants. The party people among you can go to the famous Bründlstadl bar and if that's not enough, to the night bars and night clubs of Maria Alm, Saalbach or Dienten.
