Ski hire Sainte Foy en Tarentaise
Situated in the heart of the Tarentaise on the right bank of the Haute Isère sits the village of Sainte Foy Tarentaise, at an elevation of 813 metres. Lying amid the well-known ski resorts of the Tarentaise Valley (Val d’Isère, La Rosière, Les Arcs, Tignes and La Plagne), Sainte Foy has 15 runs suitable for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities, spread out over 30 km of pure delight. This compact, northwest-facing ski area benefits from a high-quality powdery snow, as skiing professionals frequently recognise. What’s more, there are some magnificent routes down steep inclines, such as the north face of Fogliettaz, which has an elevation difference of 1700 metres, or Le Monal, for the more courageous. Younger skiers will also have plenty to entertain them in the “P’tits Trappeurs” club, where there’s no shortage of activities. You’ll especially be treated to magnificent views of Mont Blanc and the Haute Tarentaise Valley from the top of the slopes.
Sainte Foy Tarentaise is essentially a finely balanced mix between Savoyard tradition and comfort, making for a warm and welcoming feel. Activities other than alpine skiing are available too: you can go snowshoe hiking, take a guided tour of the village, visit a spa and fitness centre, go heliskiing, witness the torchlit nighttime descents made by the entire French Skiing School team, or go to a concert.
