Created in 1907, Montgenèvre is situated at an altitude of 1850 metres, in close proximity to the Italian border. With more than 400 km of runs straddling France and Italy and an exceptional elevation range of 1860 m to 2700 m, the Milky Way ski area leads to the sites of the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics. The area offers a total of 30 green runs, 54 blues, 118 reds and 42 blacks, served by 75 ski lifts, and if that weren’t enough, there’s a snowpark for freestyling fans.
